These paintings seek to illuminate the interplay between the rural and the urban, the mysterious and the known.  Done in pencil and ink the paintings are based on rigid perspective grids, yet depict worlds wild and foreboding .  I am drawn to the landscape of fables where the tension of man and nature is often at play.
